    Favorite places in HK:

(1.) Pretty much any residential area after midnight or so or any place other places after 2-3AM when it's possible to walk around and take in the crumblyness/run-down-iness-papered-over-with-gold-paint-and-cheap-marble-tile of HK without having to constantly be on guard for human-shaped missiles.

(2.) My apartment, assuming there's no drilling/jackhammering/demolitions work going on at that moment.

Wait...... if I tell you about my favourite spot then all you bums are going to turn up there aren't you, thereby ruining my favourite spot?

Nice try, but I'm not falling for it.

If that had been the post I was replying to, then yes, but it wasn't!

So far it's the shaded part right outside of Kowloon Public Library, where you can sit in (relative) quiet and (relative) comfort while reading. Only crowded on sundays, and even then space is not a problem. An oasis right outside (I think it's technically outside) Mongkok.

A lot of the 1960s village houses in Wu Kau Tang do have communist stars on them.
