what is worrying is how little news is getting out. very concerned.
my wife has tears in her eyes. evacuation centres being evacuated to other evacuation centres. anyone with a house still standing taking in evacuees. one family has taken in 13 other families. no food available.
A tweet from a UN official states the destruction is on par with the 2006 Indian Ocean Tsunami.
A new circulation has formed East of the Philippines...the alphabet may be complete by the end of next week.
HAINAN is showing signs of re-intensification. I guess we'll get some rain soon...

Sky News is now reporting the Red Cross say at least 1200 dead, and counting. 1000 in Tacloban and 200 in Samar. Many other towns yet to be reached. Terrible news. Heartbreaking to watch on the news the faces of the children separated from their parents.
