    Born in Macau

I would like to know that if you are born in Macau do you automatically get an ID if the child's parents are both foreign.

Same country la! Different SAR la!

I think it depends on whether the parents are residents of Macau.

As far as I know if one or both parents has residency in Macau then the baby gets P.R.

I honestly have not got much idea though.. what is the status of the parents?

If that is true, it would be different than Hong Kong. In Hong Kong, one parent has to have "chinese nationality". Just having residency or work visa's isn't enough.

Not for PR. One parent only needs to be a PR for a baby to get (temporary) PR in hk. But the baby isn't eligible for hk passport unless one parent is chinese.

Ha, yes, temporary permanent residency... which basically means that they have a dependent's visa..only don't have to renew.
