We've been buying our Hills from Ape pet and would have bought Origen as well until @Cwbguy said it was cheaper at WP.

Also have bought Frontline equivalent from Iherb for US$17.

Thanks for that tip. It's HK$93 cheaper than WNP from Iherb.

@shri @rani after all this talk about the dog, you'll have to bring her to the next geo meeting.

@Cwbguy - @Elegiaque sometime after easter. I owe you a few beers anyways for the tips in this thread.

The problem with the dog is - she's a beagle. Will sniff out food and single-mindedly attack it.

Yup. Orijen and Acana are top of the food chain. Another one is Nutram. Also a Canadian brand with high ratings on dog food advisor.

If Orijen is available at APE, they should have Nutram as well since they have the same distributor in HK.

Tell me about it! Too long to list the amount of times ours would try to get into the cupboards and even climb onto a table to get to any food, even if wrapped in plastic ( ready for one's lunchbox!) Our neighbour's beagles got stuck into some liquorice while they were out and came home to one unholy mess. And don't think that they only eat food. Mine ate my bicycle seat, dad's new shirt he received for Christmas, sheets off the line, dad's socks, underwear....however, they are the most loveliest dog, great personality. When we move from HK to somewhere where we have a backyard, I want to adopt another two.

A friend I knew in Dubai has a beagle. She ( the dog) ate through skirting boards of her home.

Btw, if you ever need a dog sitter.......;-))
