How about University facilities? I've heard of people getting a community membership for Stanley Ho fitness centre HKU. Room looks pretty good and there is a pool etc.

Tung Chung seems pretty good, especially given the price difference to a Pure Fitness or Cali. Granted no classes, towels etc

There are classes at the clubhouses here, and they're open to non-residents at a (very) slightly higher rate.

Thanks - any recommendations on which clubhouses in particular?

Not an expert on their offerings, but there lots on offer here. I may take up Muay Thai with Tung Thai (not affiliated with the clubhouses).

I have never really seen a queue and on a lot of basics (treadmill, rower, etc.) there are at least two of each.
