    recruiting websites

Other than here on geoexpat, and jobsDB, what are the good recruiting websites for HK? Are there any that focus in particular areas? I'm looking for juniors who need strong quantitative skills (so a similar type of person who might apply to finance).

I'm looking for reasonably junior people - do they use LinkedIn? I always thought of that as a more senior tool, but if I'm wrong I'll look at posting there too.

maybe also consider http://jijis.org.hk/ if you want to hire direct from universities?

Are you looking for a quant who you will allow to go on holiday 6 months out of the year for trekking? If so, PM me.

The universities send out career email lists every day. Sounds like something you could post to. Their website is terrible, but you can try contacting HKU Cedars for example:

    Careers & Placement

    Or PolyU:

Ideally we'd want someone with a couple of years experience. The ones straight out of university in HK don't seem to have any life skills.....

Can it be done remotely? You might find someone with the skills but cheaper overseas.

I believe most of the HK local university students use indeed.hk. Companies seem to combine job postings with engaging a headhunter to help with screening and advising on market salary ranges.
