As for PRC visitors, they are well screened in Singapore unlike HK and the ICA on arrival does a fantastic job of keeping the PRC trash out.
    How are they screened?

Hike. Spring clean. Catch up on work and TV shows downloaded without time to watch. Relax generally! That's me anyway.

Well we are having a fun CNY, termites! Workmen ripping out built in and walk in wardrobes, spraying, bombing, injecting. Still you are supposed to get rid of the old and bring in the new at CNY aren't you?

I love Netflix. Local channels like TVB and soon-to-be-bankrupt ATV might as well be non-existent to me.

I am going to eat, eat, drink, eat, sleep and eat some more. (This is the local favourite past time in no particular order....)

Yep, I would choose sake and bumming around Japan - there is a wonderful jazz, whiskey, cognac cosy bar along Ponti Dori in Kyoto - than meeting with architects, looking at kitchens and bathrooms, tiles, and other stuff that i would never install in my, and my husband's new ,soon to be built house. No snow, just sleet and rain at the moment.
