UB直播 is the name of the app, I have a feeling it's stolen from moonbox.

it's hidden somewhere, they call it 後備, meaning "emergency" or "spare".

No interest in other apps like KODI? Do you only need the UBOX for the Chinese and Asian content?

My point is that even without the UBTV apps, the UBOX is a damn fine Android media player.

I already have kodi installed on my jailbroken apple tv2 and moonbox, I purchased these other iptv services only for those pay tvb channels.

My UBTV was working this morning at 8am. Not the UBTV english version app (I accidentally uninstalled that a few days ago and its not in the new ubtv app store to reinstall it). But the IPTV app that first starts with a home screen showing the weather, then click on HDlive and all the live channels are there are working. Strangely enough, the channels all have english names, not the Chinese names that I think they had before. I think they may have combined the IPTV (chinese version) and UBTV (english version) apps into one now. But not sure. Anyway was working this morning.

Call me old fashion, I am definitely unplugging this box, I don't like it that they now have a new app called HDPTv on there, when I opened this app, it seems like a regular tv app with channels like TVB, FOX, HBO... ...then there are XXX adult porn channels right there wide open, no password is required, BAD TASTE!!!

Thanks for the heads up and review of the Deke. I watched your video and of the 321 channels available I cannot see any Japanese channels. Does it really have Japanese?

It's a nice option and for $10 a month if its stable and has the 7 day playback function then I might be interested. But there are a bunch of other paid APK options out there now so there is plenty of competition. For example, heres one that focuses on Japanese channels, but still has international channels:
    Products-QNET-HD

Here's another one if you are interested in channels sourced from Malaysia(Astro)/Singapore/Indonesia etc:
    Products-QNET-HD

Thank you for the info on these other providers, I will check them out later, I hope they carry the b/w chinese movie channel I've been looking for.
