The Observatory will consider issuing the Strong Wind Signal No. 3 to replace the No. 8 signal between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.
My company has not shut down. I have been sending emails to all my staff at regular interviews ensuring they don't have time to bugger off and have funOriginal Post Deleted
Basically a T8 in hk is a strong wind in Manila and a T3 is a normal rain. But then again in hk the locals go to see a Dr for absolutely the smallest cough or cold!
Here we go. Guys, there were gales blowing in several parts of Hong Kong today...I would guess something like 5 million people were kept indoors today...I wonder how many deaths there might have been if there was no T8 signal.
In the U.K. when it snowed, there were times folks couldn't get into work...this was accepted even though there were no warnings...would you trust HK employers to have the same respect for their workers?
How am I supposed to know when this signal gets lowered without having to look at my phone every so often?
5 a 7 soon over. Time to work.
