    Update

    Thanks again to everyone who posted in this thread and PMed me with advice. I should have updated this thread last week.

    I ultimately ended up seeing Dr. Christopher Tong in Admiralty and he was great. My visit to his office was probably the single most positive experience that I've ever had with a medical professional during the nearly ten years I've spent in HK and I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs an orthopedist. My knee problem turned out to be not very serious and, in fact, nothing to worry about.

    I go to Dr. Tong as well, was just about to recommend him.

    Glad to hear that your knee is okay!

    Hi all, i have a busted knee as well. 1st mri scan 2 years ago and the ortho said its a meniscus tear and i have to do a keyhole surgery. Did that in mar'17 and 1 year later im still hurting. Did another mri (3rd one) and my medial compartment is at stage 3 degenerate.

    The physio whom i saw and is quite experience suggested i see a sports ortho specialising in knee. Does anyone have experience to recommend a doctor ? Thanks !

    @furburr

    Consider Dr Dan Hooley

    Or Dr David Owens at OT&P (he is the O in OT)
