It's a reasonable location. There's a big mall, and there has been a fair bit of newer apartments developed there. The main downside of being "new" is that these places tend to be even more tiny than older buildings, or they have huge amounts of glass in them which means zero insulation.

Are their any club houses or parks for children in the area? Connectivity to Central is not bad.

What are thoughts on the area? are there stores and restaurants close by?
Lots of parks in the area and a huge public playroom near or at (forgot) the Causeway Bay Library,

Lots of restaurants, supermarkets, very family friendly and very international. In my view one of the best place in HK for family life, close to the center and with good size apartment.

can you elaborate on your comment of getting in and out of HV. How long would it typically take to get to central?

Looking at Olympic station now. Looks like there are more child and pet friendly places with some.flat land and built in facilities.

Olympian City has a lot of estates, some with excellent facilities. Make sure to check out Cherry Street Park as well as the promenade area near One Silver Sea.

How much are the 3 bedroom apartments at Laguna Verde in Hung Hom going for these days?

Close to TST via their large coach bus.

If it's in your budget, might be worth considering.

Hey.. guys so I have now moved to HK and the apartment hunt has started. I think I am inclined to the blechers. Flat land ... play areas for my twin 2 yr olds and a kindergarten next door.

Is there a specialist agent for Belchers?
