Germans like meat, go to Wooloomooloo on 21st floor and have a great view of the harbour and sip some cocktails

We took German guests to an Italian restaurant in Central and they enjoyed it. I don't know Kowloon Park area but a decent Italian might be a good option?

Otherwise for traditional Chinese experience you can't beat Spring Deer in TST as @rani recommends.

I second the Swiss Chalet if you want to be safe. They will surely get food they are used to.

If I wanted OpenRice options, I would not have posted this thread. OpenRice is useful for finding the location of restaurants, their reviews are absolutely and shockingly useless. Particularly if you are an expat, given most of the reviews are by locals with zero understanding of what makes a good restaurant (from an expat perspective). Plus they delete bad reviews - I know, because I tried to post one - so they are basically wrong on any level.

Thanks everyone for your help. We booked Wooloomooloo after consulting with the guys coming.
