    Earthquake in Luzon, Philippines

6.1 earthquake here. Clark Airport damaged, flights cancelled. At least 3 dead, many injured.

Shit that was strong! One sister in law got a cut on her face but otherwise we are all OK. Two of our neighbours got slight damage to their houses but we seem OK.

Elegiaque and Kowloon Goon like this.

That's a pretty good jolt. I remember a 6.0 earthquake in Chiang Mai in 2014 and I was out the door very quickly. It's pretty freaky... Always wondering where it's going and when it will stop with aftershocks.

Yes shakes the brain up a bit. Wife was at shopping mall with the two youngest, one mother was hit by falling debris. My wife took two more to hospital, one panic attack and another an asthma attack.

11 dead but expected to rise. Over 100 injured.

All work, private and public, stopped in Pampanga.

The aftershocks are mild, many focussed around Angeles.

The US have it as a 6.3 epicentre in Pampanga.

That was in Manila, happened in a few places including a roof top pool in Angeles. Not good if you were in the pool at the time.

Death toll 16 so far. Most in a supermarket that collapsed.

Another earthquake 6.5 in Samar yesterday and another nearby last night that woke us up.

Clark airport will reopen today with rebuilt check-in and replacement xray machines. Over 200 bridges have been inspected and repaired where necessary. All reopened. The new terminal and New Clark City were unaffected and work continued.
