It is not known at this stage, if the Hong Kong operations would be affected. They have not been adversely impacted during an earlier crisis. The Big Cat Group, operates two Jamie’s Italian restaurants in Hong Kong, one in Midtown Soundwill Plaza II and the other in Harbour City in Tsim Sha Tsui.
The franchise in HK might not have the same problems that they have in the UK?

That doesn't look anything like the food I had in his restaurants in the UK.

It would suck to operate a franchise of a collapse restaurant chain

He's got a bunch of different brands. The Italian one is "ok" - nothing special, above average for HK food and at above average prices.

Not a fan of Jamie's Italian but only went to a UK location.

His meat restaurant in London - Barbecoa - was good.

It's not just Jamie's Italian that has gone into receivership, a large group of companies, including 15, Barbecoa etc have all gone into administration with many locations shut permenantly. Whether they manage to sell any given the current climate in UK, is doubtful.

Was at Jamie's a couple of months ago for their crazy happy hour. The bar was busy and there were quite a few diners too. But by 9pm the place was empty.
