i mean do it once a week? but at least give people the chance to get out.
HK police could prevent protesters from going to the airport by check points at airport Express and Tung Chung bus terminal. Only allowing passengers, staff and peeps that have a purpose to go to the airport.

Not always an option as some destinations do not have daily flights. In any case, with the number of people having to rebook, getting on the next flight is, I understand, becoming increasingly problematic.

    Does that return include dividends?

In any case, I always thought airlines were like shipping companies - cyclical investments to trade rather than long term wealth generators?

There are many buses from all over the city going to the airport with stops on the way and people could just walk there, so you probably would need to have a road block on the brigde leading to the airport and inspect passengers there.

I suspect this is being done on purpose by the government.

Do you ditch your checkin luggage if you can board a plane without it?
If returning, it might work out economically - leave the whites behind.
