    Yes, for a cut and blowdry. Am born in Hong Kong have always paid $300-400 for a haircut. Remember paying $350 in the 90s at Kim Robinson's salon on Wyndham St.

    We get our hair cuts these days at our local barber near my kids school who is from Guangzhou, which is pretty cool. $13.00aud/$78hkd for kids trendy haircuts and $18.00aud/$108hkd for adults.

    Which is alright and we always get a cuppa, biscuit and friendly chat with her.

    I used to cringe at Hong Kong Island prices for a simple hair cut. Sai Kung town was priced pretty fairly when we lived there, at $100hkd at a couple of the barbers in the main and old town.
