Protesters are demanding for human right and hk autonomy, that shouldn't be related to national security. But Beijing could accuse the protesters' action is hurting the city's economy and even China as well, as their reputation has been affected? That would falls into national security?
Also, they could accuse protesters working with other countries eg US, UK, hurting China, that could also fall into national security?
This law could restrict hk having close contact with other countries.
