Cabin fever - mindfulness retreat in HK?

I've been working from home since the end of Jan. We only go out for groceries. I go to the gym once a week. Total time spent out of the house less than 2 hours a week. I am going very stir crazy and was really looking forward to a vacation next week which is now cancelled.

I know it's not very responsible to travel right now but I am going crazy and really need to get away for just a few days. I think I'm starting to feel a little depressed. Is there any resort like place in HK (or within bounds of no quarantine required) I can go? For like a yoga or mindfulness retreat? I want to see nature again (beach, mountains) and get away from it all for 2-3 days. Not looking for hiking.

Isn't Macau still open? You have to wear masks but the Casinos welcome your money! Spend more time on the little HK islands and breath some fresh air. People were starting to come out again until this recent panic again. So the streets might be emptier anyway and you can walk around to your heart's content.

Suck it up and get on with it. Exercise some self-discipline. Millions of people around the world are doing so in far more draconian conditions than Hong Kong. Anyone who had holidays planned, gym memberships and the ability to work from home is in a privileged position. Think of the poor HK people who have to live in tiny, rat infested, sub-divided shitholes.

Don't feel entitled in current situation. I find listening to music really helps.

Exactly, every time I go out now I am thankful that I can even do that considering what my family and everyone else is going through in UK or worse in Italy etc. I would love to go on a meditation retreat but being stuck in a room full of people? Not a great idea and actually banned now. I see the Vipasanna retreats in Lantau are cancelled until April 26th, so doubt you will have any luck there. Why not find some resources online and follow a meditation course. Last resort, go camping in the middle of nowhere but I'm sure others will have the same idea. I go kayaking sometimes as I'm lucky to live on an island and own one, so that's another option if the beach places will still rent them out.

Don’t understand why you can’t go out for more than 2 hours a week. Hong Kong is still pretty much open and there are plenty of places to walk.

You say not hiking, but a little walk into a country park is pretty easy and plenty of beaches are very easily accessible from public transport.
