meaning that the ideology is weaker than as they value convenience over principal, which is rather hypocritical, very similar to what cummings in UK advises to the public but does the exact opposite.

Without judging... It is the United center podium to be exact. You and I don't know how they got there, given all the ID checks going on. Seems like it is 5 reporters and 20 cops for each protestor.

    And equating them to Cummings...

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

    Martin Niemöller (1892–1984)

To quote Desmond Tutu: “If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor. If an elephant has its foot on the tail of a mouse and you say that you are neutral, the mouse will not appreciate your neutrality.”

protest can be peaceful and achieve their ultimate goals, just look at Ghandi's movement, same with Nelson mandela and martin luther king never instigated or cause any violence
