Crime: Possession of offensive weapons (laser pointer, hiking stick, umbrella)
    Pled: Not guilty
Sentence: 3 months rehabilitation centre (15 years old)
    Side: Pro-democracy
    Surprisingly: Harsh

The boy cooperated with police and is not demonstrated to have attacked anyone, but has his freedom taken away for longer than some anti-protester with a long criminal record attacking a non-participant (teacher protecting students).

The judge/magistrate also needs to come out more to the real world. Without commenting on the facts of the actual case, I have seen more than once, in person, the use of laser pointers in a way described as far-fetched, in peaceful demonstrations.

Summary - not proven to have hurt anyone, 3 months for possession of “offensive weapons”

22yo girl living in police quarters who was arrested for having 3kg of Ketamine was released as Hong Kong Police & Department of Justice insisted dropping the charge against opinion of magistrate.

    Today.

Finally, a result more in keeping with what we might expect given what we have been seeing all the while!
They certainly had a lot of cheek bringing this one to court instead of just brutalising him then releasing him to be ignored by the IPCC like they probably have many others.

Taxi driver rammed into a protester. I was a couple of cars behind this when it happened. The crowd were ambling along and facilitating cars to get out of the people filled streets.
