    That's so strange. I just took CX flight, HKG to LHR on 23 Sep. Same day, different direction.

    No pictures, but flight was absolutely packed. No seat free, every single seat taken. Lots of people wearing goggles and waterproof overalls.

    Immigration in the UK seemed to be overwhelmed - I don't think they were expecting this many people at once. Luckily for me the UK passport channel went smoothly.

    Almost all the seats on the flight were taken up by young 20 somethings. I picked up a few Singaporean accents too. I'm guessing it was a mass exodus for the new University term.

    My outbound a week ago was also packed with Uni students. About 90% packed - few rows were the middle seat was empty.

    UK Immigration was/is a mess for non-UK passports - a couple of officers dealing with 200+ passengers.
