I enjoyed the England match. thoroughly confused by the pre-game coverage on Viu TV though...girls in football strips strutting down a low budget catwalk and then eating hotpot live on air. <shrug>

No idea if i'm going to manage waking up for 3am kick off for the remaining england group matches though (i probably will try).

All my bets turned losing ones. Where I expect a draw it’s very one sided and where I expect a clear win it ended up in draw or the other side won. Stupid football.

Quite entertaining to read some of the conversations on the interwebs where finance folks have deployed all sorts of strategies..

I do have three big bets ($30 cost) on all in group 1 & 2 placements which might win between 10-40K ... Let's see how the next round or two of games play out.

At least there is no conventional group of death this year..

HKJC App -> Football -> Bet Types -> All Up -> Tournament Bet Types -> Group Forecast -> Next -> Select Group Runner Ups

I chose two outcomes in one of the groups and this was the result - 2 tickets x $10

Isn't there some kinda Paul the Octopus this year to correctly predict all the matches? Or we only gonna find out about him when it's too late?

Germany, Spain, Croatia all playing tonight. Japan's not bad either.

Overall a bit boring before the quarter finals as it always is. What an upset in the Argentina Saudi match last evening though.
