Another delivery but not the one intended. My wife was looking for a disabled man but couldn't find him so went to check if this family were still around after the typhoon.

This is their home, a few sheets to screen off a section of a derelict building. The mother saw my wife and kids and said they had no food at all. So my wife left her a pack and will go back today with more aid.

I have no control of the photos and was going to edit out my kids but decided to leave them in as it gives scale to the "house" and they are wearing masks anyway.

A story about this family. When my wife and I were both basically bedridden a friend came to stay to act as an unpaid carer, cook, cleaner, shopper, handyman, masseur, whatever. But he had no transport so this family, who he gave food to sometimes, lent their only remaining possession from better times, their motorbike, to him so he could in turn look after us. They rarely use the motorbike because they can't afford fuel.

Still asking for donations so we can help more families.

And back to the family living in the derelict building with 3 more packs.

My wife has found a family of three living in a 'room' of 8ft by 4ft at most. They use the barangay (local council) building for toilets and washing. They were out so a return trip will be needed.

My wife is working hard when her health permits while I lay in bed.

More donations are really needed. Please, if you can and if you are willing then please either contact Shri for details of bank transfer (preferred) or me for Western Union.

Another donation arrived yesterday (minutes from being sent from another country, to UK, to collection here). You know who you are, thank you so much on behalf of the recipients.

Already some food bought and being packed. Large order placed for more food to be delivered to us next week.

My wife has linked up with another person who does a feeding programme for street kids. At a future event my wife will give them a Christmas gift, most likely the only one they will receive, of sweets and biscuits. All wrapped and ready.

A delivery of rice to an orphanage for the severely disabled (hence no pictures of the children just one of the staff) and an adjoining women's refuge.

150kg of rice here with another 100 kg close behind on another trike.

My wife and kids will be attending the feeding programme for these street children on the 30th of November. Organised by two teachers. Any donations for the children would be gratefully received.

    Rice put aside for us

A photo is worth a thousand words. Bare foot street kid sitting is a pen of a disused piggery deliriously happy with a portion of spaghetti!

The kids had never had anyone apart from the teachers bring them food and then Christmas wrapped gifts. They were so so so happy. Around 100 turned up.
