    Sometimes, politicians who have such strong global marketing don't stack up domestically. People abroad thought that she was the answer to all their domestic problems and wished they could import her to be PMs of their respective countries.

    I don't know or care about her politics, but at least she has the integrity to step down when she feels she can't do her job justice. That alone makes her better than 90% of other politicians around the world.

    NZ has a multi party system with a large number of potential leaders. 29% strikes me as pretty high in that context.

    Yes agree. What I saw reported before was that the 29% was her approval figure which is completely different and so false reporting.
